about
A quote from the book, The Blood and the Glory, by Billye Brim:
"The Hebrew word is not angels. It is Elohim. Elohim is the plural word for God. It shows God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. For eternity past the angels had known this order: the Triune Godhead, archangels, and angels. Now there is a new order in creation. Man is ranked just under the Godhead. The angels didn't even know the position was open."
3 When I consider your heavens,
the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them,
human beings that you care for them?
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels (ELOHIM)
and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands;
you put everything under their feet:
Psalm 8:3-6New International Version (NIV)
lyrics
Outstanding
The noise that heaven makes
Redefining
All of my mistakes
The angels ask
Who is man
That you called by name
Made him stand?
My God, my God
The angels, the angels ask
Who is man, what is man?
Outstanding
The view from heaven that day
Declaring
Even whispers made the earth shake
The angels ask
After the sky'd been set to spin
As you kissed breath into life
Set a crown upon him
My God, my God
The angels, the angels ask
Who is man, what is man?
